The 3rd Meeting had 46 attendees from 9 countries: United States (35), The Netherlands (4), Brazil (1), Canada (1), Germany(1), Norway(1), Poland(1), South Africa(1) and United Kingdom (1). In terms of faculty-to-student ratio, the Academy had 20 faculty members and 10 students in attendance (i.e., 2 to 1 ratio). Our 2nd Meeting was a Great Success
The 2nd Meeting had 24 attendees from 3 countries: Australia (19), United States (4) and United Kingdom (1). In terms of faculty-to-student ratio, the Academy had 6 faculty members and 6 students in attendance (i.e., 1 to 1 ratio). Many thanks to all who made this possible, particularly Emily Lancsar, who chaired the meeting.
Call for Abstracts
The call for abstracts has been announced for the 4th Meeting (Hamburg; Read more) and the 5th Meeting (Singapore; Read more). Abstracts are due by 15 April 2016 (Hamburg) and 1 June 2016 (Singapore). After all members review each abstract, notifications will be sent via email (mid-May and early July, respectively).
Early Registration
Early registration for the 2nd Meeting (Brisbane; Read more) and for the 3rd Meeting (St. Louis; Read more) is open to the general public until 13 August 2015. Registration for these meetings includes presentations, a business meeting, coffee, lunch, and multi-course dinner with open bar. Attendance is limited.
Abstract Review
As of 5:00 p.m. EDT, the call for abstracts closed. IAHPR members will have 3 weeks for their double-blinded review of the 39 abstracts. Approximately 12 to 14 abstracts will be selected for each meeting (Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and St. Louis, Missouri, USA) as well as 4-6 student posters (US only) . Notifications will be sent in June.

Save the Dates
Time, date, and location details are now available for our two meetings in 2015: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and St. Louis, Missouri, USA. The meeting in St. Louis will also include our first student-only poster session, which was created as a way to showcase the achievements of students.
IAHPR Receives Tax-exempt Status
The US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) determined that IAHPR Foundation Inc is exempt from federal income tax. Donors can deduct contributions they make to IAHPR under Internal Revenue Code 170.

Founding of IAHPR
Based on 47 invitations, 35 founding members completed their registration. In addition to a brief biography, each member reported his/her conference attendance to aid in the nomination of future meeting locations.
Call for Abstracts
The call for abstracts was created and posted on the website. The website and call information were distributed to those who were invited to become a founding member. A more general call will be prepared for distribution by 15 April 2014.
IAHPR Invitations for Founding Membership
Since the founding, every person who presented at one of the five Conjoint Analysis in Healthcare Conferences (CAHC) was sent an email request to discuss their interest in receiving a founding membership invitation to IAHPR. Among those who expressed interest, 47 invitations were sent on 21 March 2014. Membership applications will be accepted and processed until 15 April 2014, after which no more members will be registered. A list of founding members will be posted to the IAHPR website.
