The 1st Meeting had 46 attendees from 8 countries: The Netherlands (14), United States (12), Germany (10), United Kingdom (6), Australia (1), Brazil (1), Poland (1), and Sweden (1). In terms of faculty-to-student ratio, the Academy had 14 faculty members and 20 students in attendance (i.e., 2 to 3 ratio).
